Hi, I am Rene Vance — a Southern Ohio real estate agent who genuinely loves what she does, the people she serves, and the community she calls home.
I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio — the daughter of a Greek immigrant father who was born and raised on Symi, a beautiful island in Greece, before making his way to the United States and building a life here. Growing up, I worked in my family’s restaurant in Akron, where I learned from a very early age what hard work, genuine hospitality, and taking care of people really look like. Those lessons have never left me.
I made Southern Ohio my home in 2002 and have never looked back.
From Retail Management To Real Estate
Before real estate, I built a long career in retail management — working my way up to store manager and district manager with Countryside Rentals DBA Rent2Own, a well-known company right here in Southern Ohio. Managing teams, serving customers, and running operations at a high level gave me a skill set that prepared me for real estate in ways I never anticipated.
In 2015, I launched Vance Team Realtors alongside my husband and business partner, Bryan Vance, and discovered very quickly that this was exactly what I was meant to do.

A Little About Me
I am an animal lover at heart. Our mini farm is home to our dogs Darby and Riley, our cats Abe and Sly, and our three horses and donkey — all of whom keep life wonderfully full and never boring.
I love my garden, traveling, and kayaking. My two favorite destinations in the world are our Myrtle Beach condo, where Bryan and I love to recharge, and Symi, Greece — my father’s homeland and one of the most breathtaking places on earth. Every trip to Symi is a reminder of where my family came from and how fortunate I am to carry that heritage with me.
Most importantly — I love Southern Ohio, I love my clients, and I love what I do every single day.
